Dawne is an event industry trailblazer and creative powerhouse. Dawne built Pop! from the ground up and has transformed it into one of the top event companies in Canada. A true visionary and strong leader, Dawne has been named by BizBash Magazine as one of Canada’s most influential event professionals.

After 18 years in business and 25 years in the industry, Dawne has never lost her passion for dreaming up innovative event products and themes for her beloved clients, working with her talented team and helping shape and push the event industry forward.

Dima is the spark that makes Pop! pop. She manages our events with an iron will and makes the impossible possible. Whether it’s last-minute requests, planning an elaborate event for thousands, or managing 40 events at once, she gets the job done – flawless and always on time.

With 20+ years of event management experience, Dima is a consummate professional making the most difficult task easy. She never sweats the small stuff and has a fine eye for the details. Dima is a force of nature who always brings an energy to the room that is unmatched

Whether managing an event, coordinating a delivery, whipping our warehouse into shape or solving a technical question, he always does so with a calm demeanour and a smile. Malique is the master of good vibes and is a pleasure to work with at any event.

Valerie, or Val for short is one of our newest gems. A smart and talented designer and as creative as they come, Val has risen up the ranks in a short period of time. Amongst her many hats, Val is responsible for event and graphic design and has recently taken over our company’s Instagram account. If it’s something beautiful, chances are that Val had something to do with it.

Elayne is a Pop! veteran has been with us from the beginning in her previous role as a sales representative. She did try to retire at one point but we missed her too much!! She now works part-time sharing her unique perspective on our company blog. In addition to her whimsical wordplay, Elayne has been responsible for ideating many of our unique event offerings over the years. Pop! would not be the same without her.

Our Story

Pop! Events Group was founded in 2005 by Jodi Lieff and Dawne Eisenberg. Two up-and-coming professional event planners wanting to make a splash quickly recognized a growing need for unique and constantly current event products and services. And the rest is history.

2005-2006

Pop! Events Group opens for business! Our Corporate Gifting division opens a year later and partners with toy and gift industry experts to fill a void and offer trendy and innovative options to our clients.

2012

Party Rentals division launches. Building up a unique inventory of cutting-edge rentals, we did our research and offered only the best and brightest in games, photo booths, event props and more! And if it didn’t exist… we made it!

2020

Virtual Events Division Launches. We help engage staff while they work from home via Zoom. We developed a full range of programming Including Team Building Games, Mixology and Virtual Holiday Parties.

TODAY – Live events are back and we are stronger than ever!! We are proud to retain 99% of our clients, year-over-year (many who have been with us since the very beginning) and are thankful for all the people who trusted our expertise and brought us here. We cannot wait to see what the next decade will bring.
